Refund Policy

Effective date: July 28, 2026

In plain language: credits are prepaid and non-refundable, except where the law says otherwise. Crypto (x402/USDC) payments are final the moment they confirm on-chain — nobody can reverse them. If our server errors out and charges you credits anyway, tell us and we'll restore the credits. If you dispute a Stripe charge, the credits it bought are removed from your account.

1. Credits Are Prepaid and Non-Refundable

Arch Tools operates on a prepaid, pay-per-use credit model. Credits — whether from one-time packs, subscriptions, or the free signup grant — are non-refundable except where required by applicable law. Credits have no cash value, are non-transferable, and one-time pack credits do not expire while your account is in good standing.

We may, at our sole discretion and as a courtesy, consider refund requests for wholly-unused one-time credit packs made within 14 days of purchase. This is a goodwill review, not an entitlement.

2. Subscription Plans

Monthly subscriptions can be cancelled at any time via your dashboard or by emailing [email protected]. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you keep access to your subscription credits until then. We do not offer prorated refunds for partial billing periods, and unused subscription credits expire at cycle end.

3. x402 (USDC) Payments Are Final

Payments made via the x402 protocol in USDC are settled on public blockchains. Cryptocurrency settlements are final and irreversible once confirmed on-chain — due to the nature of blockchain transactions, neither we nor anyone else can reverse, cancel, or refund them. This applies regardless of whether you used the credited API call. Failed or unconfirmed transactions (network congestion, insufficient gas) are your responsibility.

4. Service Errors

If an API call fails due to a server-side error (5xx status) and credits were deducted, contact us within 7 days and we will restore the credits to your account. We do not restore credits for client-side errors (4xx, including content_policy refusals and rate limits) or for output quality you are unhappy with — AI outputs are probabilistic and provided as-is (see Terms §10).

5. Stripe Disputes & Chargebacks

If a Stripe charge is refunded or you file a chargeback/dispute, the credits originally granted for that purchase are automatically deducted from your account balance (your balance never goes below zero, and we never remove more than that purchase granted). Please contact [email protected] before disputing a charge — most billing issues are resolved within 2 business days. Fraudulent disputes may result in account suspension.

6. Statutory Rights

Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable rights you have under the consumer protection laws of your country or state, including any mandatory withdrawal or cancellation rights for consumers in the EU/UK. Where such law grants you a refund right that cannot be excluded, we honor it.

7. How to Request a Refund or Credit Restoration

Email [email protected] with your account email, the transaction ID or Stripe receipt, and a description of the issue. We respond within 2 business days.

8. Exceptions

MCMetaverse LLC reserves the right to deny refund requests in cases of suspected abuse, fraud, or violation of the Acceptable Use Policy or Terms of Service.
